Help us preserve Iowa’s historic resources by becoming a member of Preservation Iowa. Membership includes our quarterly newsletter, special event announcements, discounts on Preservation Iowa events and workshops, and discounts on registration for the annual Preservation Iowa Summit.  Your support also helps cover essential operating expenses, maintain our website, and fund programs and initiatives that protect and enhance historic resources across the state.  Individual memberships are available at several levels, each offering increasing benefits while strengthening Preservation Iowa’s mission.  We also offer special rates for nonprofit organizations and historic preservation communities interested in joining as an entity.

Preservation Iowa offers business memberships designed to promote companies that provide preservation services throughout the state.  Business listings for members appear in our online directory, providing a statewide resource of a list of contractors, consultants, and other professionals in the field of historic preservation not offered by any other organization in Iowa.

• Basic Listing: Includes the business name, town, phone number, and website.
• Advanced Listing: Adds a short paragraph highlighting your services and experience in historic preservation.
• Premium or Select Listing: Features a longer profile of your business along with additional membership benefits.

When signing up, please provide your business information and profile paragraph on the membership form so we can include it in our online directory.

Finally, please remember that donations to Preservation Iowa, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, are fully tax-deductible.  Your support goes beyond membership fees and directly strengthens our ability to protect and preserve Iowa’s historic resources. Contributions help fund programs, educational initiatives, advocacy efforts, and events that engage communities across the state. Every donation – large or small – makes a meaningful difference, ensuring that Iowa’s historic buildings, neighborhoods, and cultural landscapes are preserved for generations to come.
