Wapsi Valley Archaeology is a full service, professional cultural resources consulting firm that has been open for business since 2002. We have completed over 1,400 historic architectural and archaeological investigations in Iowa and nearby Midwestern states since our founding. We offer a complete range of cultural resources services for Section 106 National Historic Preservation Act compliance, state grant programs, and other purposes. Services offered include reconnaissance and intensive-level architectural history surveys, Phase I archaeological surveys, Phase II archaeological testing and evaluation, Phase III archaeological data recovery excavations, preparation of National Register of Historic Places nominations, historic documentation of resources including HABS and HALS, kiosk and signage creation, and other historic and archaeological mitigation services.
