Preservation Iowa is most effective when collaborating with individuals and groups statewide to protect historic resources. By pooling information and contacts, the organization stays informed about government actions affecting historic structures and ensures that the voice for historic preservation and community revitalization is heard. Through newsletters, programs, conferences, events, and advocacy, Preservation Iowa educates both the public and private sectors at local and state levels about preservation issues.
